French style in Sweden

El apartamento de hoy se sitúa en Malmo, Suecia, pero a nadie le extrañaría si digo que se encuentra en Paris ¿verdad? Tiene ese estilo francés característico que lo define. Me quedo con  el detalle de los espejos dorados barrocos que tan bien encajan en los ambientes más relajados.

Today the apartment is located in Malmo, Sweden, but to no one be surprised if I say is located in Paris, don't you think? It has that characteristic french style that it defines. I like the detail of the baroque golden mirrors that fix so well with the relaxed ambiences.

Relaxing pastel tones

Me encanta el tono pastel elegido para las paredes de este piso en Estocolmo. Cada vez me convencen más estos tonos. Se crea un ambiente relajado y a la vez con una luz que proyecta positividad ¿no os parece?

I love the pastel colours chosen for the walls of this apartment in Stockholm. Each time I feel more convinced with these tones. It creates a relaxed atmosphere and at the same time with a light projecting positivity; don't you think?

Apartment of just 29 m²

Este apartamento situado en Polonia tiene tan sólo 29 m² y funciona. De planta cuadrada, el apartamento cuenta con una gran altura que ha permitido ubicar el dormitorio en la parte alta, a través de unas escaleras que hacen también la función de librería

La única estancia ciega es el baño;el resto contituye un espacio fluido.

Me llama la atención la puerta de madera situada junto al inicio de la escalera que únicamente tiene una función decorativa.

This apartment located in Poland has only 29 m² and it works. With square floor, the apartment features a large height that allows to locate the bedroom on the top, through stairs that also have the function of library 

The only stay blind is the bathroom; the rest constitutes a fluid space. 

It catchs my attention the wooden door located next to the stairs that only has a decorative function.

Bohemian apartment in Amsterdam

Este apartamento situado en Amsterdam tiene un aire bohemio que me encanta... El hormigón pulido del suelo que en apariencia podría resultar frío, contrasta con los toques de color que inundan la casa.

This apartment located in Amsterdam has a bohemian air that I love ... The polished concrete floor that in appearance that could be cold, contrasts with the splashes of colour that are all around the house.

A renovated decoration store in Bilbao

A veces ocurre: encontrar en tu propia ciudad una tienda de decoración que encaja con tus gustos.

Matiko Decoración es una de esas tiendas. Llevan muchos años funcionando en Bilbao pero el pasado octubre dieron el salto al centro, sitúandose al otro lado del Museo Guggenheim, muy cerquita de la Universidad de Deusto.

Ana y Belén son dos hermanas que, junto a un equipo de decoradoras, se encargan de desarrollar todo tipo de proyectos de decoración. Se recorren las principales ferias europeas a la búsqueda de piezas de decoración singulares que marcan la diferencia en cualquier tipo de reforma. Además del mobiliario vintage, tienen una gran selección de papeles pintados importados de francia, italia y américa.

Sometimes it happens: find in your own city a decorating store that fits with your tastes. 

Matiko Decoration is one of those stores. They have many years working in Bilbao but last october made the jump to the center, standing at the other side of the Guggenheim Museum, very close to the University of Deusto.

Ana and Belén are two sisters who, together with a team of decorating, are responsible for developing all kinds of interior projects. They travel along the major European fairs in search of unique decoration pieces that make the difference in any type of reform. In addition to the vintage furniture, they have a great selection of wallpapers imported from France, Italy and America.

Berlin apartment

Este apartamento situado en Berlin tiene ese encanto especial sin grandes alardes decorativos. Mantiene elementos originales como las carpinterías exteriores e interiores, así como la tarima en espiga.

This apartment located in Berlin has that special charm without large decorative displays. Maintains original elements, such as the exterior and interior woodwork, as well as the wood flooring.
