Maison de campagne: tradition and modernity

La intervención realizada en esta casa de campo situada en Bourgogne, Francia, es  sencillamente genial. Se ha sabido mantener y destacar los puntos fuertes característicos de este tipo de construcciones tradicionales, como los muros de carga de sillería y la estructura de madera a base de cerchas. Se han eliminado particiones interiores para crear un espacio fluido en planta baja, creando diferentes ambientes de acuerdo a la disposición del mobiliario.

The intervention in this country house located in Bourgogne, France, is simply brilliant. Has managed to maintain and highlight strong points characteristic of this type of traditional buildings, such as masonry load-bearing walls and wood based on truss structure. Interior partitions have been removed to create a fluid space on ground floor, creating different atmospheres according to the disposition of the furniture.

White and blue apartment

El espacio de este apartamento en Estocolomo de tan sólo 45 m² está realmente aprovechado. El salón constituye la pieza central del inmueble que comunica con el dormitorio mediante dos grandes puertas y con la cocina. 

Llama la atención el espacio de la cocina que se comunica directamente con el dormitorio y recibe luz natural a través de las carpinterías acristaladas.

Me gusta el efecto del color azul elegido para el dormitorio en contraste con el blanco uniforme del resto de la casa.

The space of this apartment in Stockholm of just 45 m ² is really well used. The living room constitutes the central piece of the home that communicates with the bedroom  through two large doors and with the kitchen. 

Caught my attention the space of the kitchen that communicates straight with the bedroom and receives natural light through the glazed carpentries.

I like the effect of the blue color chosen for the bedroom in contrast with the uniform white of the rest of the house.

White with colour

Esta casa se sitúa en Dinamarca y se caracteriza por los espacios abiertos y fluídos. Se trata de una casa luminosa donde predomina el blanco de las paredes y techos. La nota de color la proporcionan los niños y todo lo que les rodea.

This house is situated in Denmark and is characterized by open and fluid spaces. It is a luminous house dominated by the white of the walls and ceilings. The note of colour is provided by the children and everything that surrounds them.
